Bio

Edith Margaret Aschauer, 85, of Manistee, MI, formerly of Springfield, died at 4:04 p.m., Sunday, November 7, 2004 at West Shore Medical Center in Manistee, MI. Edith was born June 1, 1919 in Springfield the daughter of Dr. Henry and Eda Reisch Aschauer. Miss Aschauer was a nurse in her father's medical office in Springfield. She was a member of the Onekama Guild, Portage Lake Garden Club and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marian Buckholdt. She is survived by three brothers, Joseph, George and Henry Aschauer and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Rev. Peter Harman celebrant. Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
