Services for Mary "Granny"Pierot Rogers, 61,of Lubbock will be at 10:30A.M Tuesday in the W.W Rix Chapel with the Rev. Mel Hooten, Hospice of Lubbock chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in the Peaceful Memorial Park under direction of Rix Funeral Directors. She died at 4:30P.m Saturday in her home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Achille, Okla., and moved from Durant Okla., to Lubbock in 1951. She married John Ray Rogers on March 15, 1948 in Bells, Tx. She was a former employee of Underwood's Frozen Foods and Gold Bond Stamps. She was a Baptist. A son, Timothy Ray Rogers, died in May 1984. Survivors include her husband, John; four daughters, Brenda and Jennifer Rogers both of Lubbock, Linda Littlejohn of Amarillo and Raechel Rogers of Victorville, Calif.; a sister, Gertrude Chumley of Sherman, Tx; Three brothers Amos Pierot, Charles Pierot and Marvin Pierot, all of Durant, Okla.; and three grandchildren.
