When Charles Winfield Pierot was born on April 30, 1884, in Cooke, Texas, his father, Herman, was 45 and his mother, Mary, was 48. He married Earie Jane "Era" Smith and they had 14 children together. He then married Sarah Jane Bashaw on February 9, 1952, in Durant, Oklahoma. He died on July 25, 1962, in Achille, Oklahoma, at the age of 78.
