Jeffery Lynn Young, 60, of Indianola, died Thursday, June 25, 2020 at a nursing center in Eufaula. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. Jeffery was born in McAlester to Howard Newton and Florene (Russell) Young on February 29, 1960. He had worked as a phlebotomist for McAlester Regional Health Center and the Warren Clinic. He last served as a jailer for Pittsburg County. Jeffery enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents: Howard and Florene Young, sister: Sharon McDaniel, and brother: Ronnie Young. Survivors include a son: Jeffery Young, Jr. of Midwest City; brother: Richard Young and wife, Genalyn of McAlester; sister: Debbie Young of Indianola; and several nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
