Son of Heinrich "Henry" and Adela (Chervenka) Sladek. Marriage: Louise Volcik on July 07, 1910, recorded in Harris County, Texas. Leo was grocer. He also operated a service station on North Beach, later a grocery store on Water Street and another at Six Points, and finally opened and operated Sladek's Tavern at Port Avenue and Baldwin Blvd.
