Bio

Louise served as postmaster of Los Angeles, Texas (near present day Cotulla) in 1923. She says no one else wanted the job. After her husband's death, she began tending bar at Sladek's Tavern, a place her husband started. Her son took over ownership after Mr. Sladek's death in 1949 and Louise helped her son, Bob.
