Howard Buchanan officiated. He was BORN 9/21/1916 in Milam County and had been an employee of the Oil Mill in Thorndale and the former Kerr-Ban Mfg. Co. SURVIVORS: Wife, Odell Morrison Becker of Thorndale; son, Paul R. Becker of Eagle River, Alaska; brother, Charlie Becker of Thrall; 6 sisters, Lorene Mikus and Vera Mae Safarik, both of Taylor, Evelyn Sladek of San Antonio, Frieda Dvorak of Thrall and Julia Sommerfeld of Rt.1, Thorndale; twin sister, Pauline Dvorak of Taylor; 2 grandchildren.
