Bio

Edward J. Hines, age 97, of Morse Bluff, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont. Edward was born December 20, 1922, in Fremont, to Edward V. and Agnes (Pabian) Hines. He married Irene Slosser February 23, 1946 at Little Rock, Arkansas. They lived and farmed outside of Morse Bluff. She preceded him in death December 3, 2011. Survivors include two sons, Ron Hines of Morse Bluffs and Keith Hines of Fremont; sister, Joann Hurza of Lincoln; three grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and infant son Kenneth. Public visitation will be 4-8 PM, Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Moser Memorial chapel in Fremont. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. A Private family service will be conducted, and burial will be at Calvary cemetery in Fremont.
