Nancy Sue Horn, 65, of Haworth, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at her home. She was born April 14, 1941, in Idabel, OK, the daughter of Jewell Richardson. She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Erick Horn; and her husband, Robert Eugene Horn. Nan leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Jewell Richardson; sister, Nell Lockwood; brothers, Bill Richardson, Texarkana, James Richardson and Terry Richardson both of Valpariso, IN; children, Tom Horn and Ken Horn, both of Stillwater, OK, Sandee Yancey, Birmingham, AL, Jay Horn, Haworth, OK, and Bonnie Beem; grandchildren, Megan and Gage Yancey of Birmingham, AL, Maxwell Thomas Horn, Stillwater, OK, Kadee Sue Horn, and Katie Beem. Nan also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. One of Nan's proudest achievements was graduating Valedictorian of her nursing class at the age of 50. This accomplishment was a life-long dream. Her love of nursing was rivaled only by her love for her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Nan embodied the love of Jesus in her unconditional love for her children. She was passionate about many things including gardening, reading poetry, arranging flowers, crocheting, chicken scratching, and collecting angels. She held fast to her faith in Christ and had a strong belief in angels as our guardians. Listed in her family Bible was a favorite verse, "In death the angels of the Lord shall gather around you and take you to the presence of God".
