RUBY C. PARTAIN Mrs. Ruby C. Partain, 48, native of Pawpaw, Okla., died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emma Jean Gentry, Compton. Mrs. Partain had lived at 1207 Lawton avenue, Redlands, for the past three years and had lived in Fontana for eight years previously. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Gentry are another daughter, Mrs. Helen Dinoff, Fontana; one son, Howard F. Partain, Redlands: one brother, Charles Bowles, Spiro, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Ora Green, Arkoma, Okla.; Mrs. Maggie Turnipseed, Arkoma, Okla.; and Mrs. Lena Thurman, Porterville, California; and her mother, Mrs. Ida Bowles, Spiro, Okla. Funeral services, under the direction of the Ingold Funeral home, Fontana, are pending. She married Fletcher Monroe Partain in 1920 in Le Flore County, Oklahoma. She had three children by the time she was 26. She died on April 12, 1950, in Compton, Los Angeles County, California, at the age of 47. Marriage to Fletcher Monroe Partain 1920 — Age: 18 Leflore County, Oklahoma Children: Howard F Partain (M) born 4 Sep 1921 Helen Louise Partain (F) born 17 Sep 1926 in Spiro, Oklahoma, USA Emma Jean Partain (F) born 1928 in Oklahoma, USA, She died 18 Sept 1996 and is buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside CA as Emma Jean Gentry. Her husband Richard Melvin Gentry died in 2008 and is buried at the same cemetery.
