FLETCHER M. PARTAIN Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today from the Ingold chapel for Fletcher Monroe Partain, 41, native of Arkansas and resident or 996 Fontana avenue, Fontana, for the past two years. The Rev. Clayton Root will officiate. Interment will be in the Rialto Park cemetery. Mr. Partain died Sunday following a lengthy illness. Survivors include the widow, Ruby; a son, Howard; two daughters, Helen and Emma Jean; seven brothers, Oliver, John, Arthur, Charles, Dow, Ocie, Estel; four sisters, Mrs. Callie Ford, Mrs. OIlie Gentry, Mrs. Minnie Flynn, Mrs. Julia Pinkerton. Deceased was a member of the Church of Christ San Bernardino Sun, Volume 50, 1 March 1944 Page 8 ******************************** When Fletcher Monroe Partain was born on September 6, 1902, in Spiro, Oklahoma, his father, John, was 35 and his mother, Julia, was 33. He married Ruby Catherine Bishop in Oklahoma. He had three children by the time he was 26. He died on February 27, 1944, in San Bernardino, California, at the age of 41, and was buried in Rialto, California. Marriage to Ruby Catherine Bishop 1920 — Age: 18 Leflore County, Oklahoma
