Bio
Born in Elgin, Nebraska to William and Marie (Werner) Dozler. His siblings were Derald Dozler, Marion Dozler Kunzman, and Clayton Dozler. He married Lydia (Becker)August 18, 1956, at Immaculate Conception Church in Houston, Tx. He had two daughters:Pamela Marie born February 13,1958, in Omaha, Nebraska and Patricia Ann born October 11, 1959 in Houston, TX. During the Korean Conflict he was stationed in Alaska. He received his BS in Marketing degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 1958. During his life he owned Dozler Wholesale Pet Supply and was President of O-Tex Wholesale Distributing Company in Houston. He had managerial positions at WT Grant Company, J. J. Newberry, Mongomery Ward, Sage Red Barn Nursery, and Wolfe Nursery. He was a Texas Certified Nurseryman and enjoyed offering advice about growing plants to everyone. A heart attack in 1975 slowed him down a little, but he always found time to meet and talk to persons of all ages and ethnic groups. He enjoyed participating with his grandchildren in soccer, swimming, and even Girl Scouts. His grandchildren are twins Alana and Delia Dozler(1979), Ellen Bayer(1981),Max Bayer(1983),Leo Bayer(1986),Albert Bayer(1989),Danial Kinney(1983), Christopher Kinney (1986),and Melissa Kinney(1992).
