Bio

Werner Clyde Pilgrim, 82, of Fort Worth passed away December 11, 2017. He married his high school sweetheart, Shirley Blackwell, on April 25, 1952, and they had a loving and strong marriage until his death. He was always a family man, loving his wife, children, and grandchildren. Werner worked for 30 years for LTV. He had several interests including woodworking and gardening. He was a Master Gardener and gave tours at the Botanic Gardens in Fort Worth until his health began to fail. He was a faithful member of the Handley Church of Christ since 1956, where he served as a deacon for 30 years and an elder for 21 years until his health no longer allowed him to serve.
