Risinger Held Here Today William Nathaniel Risinger, aged 57, passed away at the family home on Taliferro Street at 4:30 on Wednesday afternoon after a lingering illness. Born on July 10, 1888, in Brazos county he had lived here all his life. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Steep Hollow church with Rev. R. V. Holleman officiating. Interment was made in the Steep Hollow cemetery, all arrangements by Bruce Funeral Home. A quartette sang "We Shall Meet Beyond the River" and "I Need Thee Every Hour." Mr. Risinger was a member of the Fellowship Primitive Baptist church of Madison county. Those who survive him are his widow, Mrs. Ada Risinger and two foster sons, James and Buddy Closs; his parents, Mr.and Mrs. C. A. Risinger, Bryan; two sisters, Mrs. R. E. Jones, Bryan, and Mrs. T. P Smith of Goose Creek; five brothers, Berry Risinger of Steep Hollow; B. M. Risinger , Normangee; B. L. Risinger of Reliance; B. F. Risinger of Shamrock, and Alton Risinger, Bryan. Pallbearers included Willard Winters, Conrad Merka, Elmo Weedon, Hardy Weedon, Nunn Jones, and William Kincannon.
