Buried with Ada C.Risinger. ∼ Transcription of Obituary from The Bryan Daily Eagle, Thursday, 27 Sept. 1945 Funeral Service For W. N. Risinger Held Here Today William Nathaniel Risinger, aged 57, passed away at the family home on Taliferro Street at 4:30 on Wednesday afternoon after a lingering illness. Born on July 10, 1888, in Brazos county he had lived here all his life. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Steep Hollow church with Rev. R. V. Holleman officiating. Interment was made in the Steep Hollow cemetery, all arrangements by Bruce Funeral Home. A quartette sang "We Shall Meet Beyond the River" and "I Need Thee Every Hour." Mr. Risinger was a member of the Fellowship Primitive Baptist church of Madison county. Those who survive him are his widow, Mrs. Ada Risinger and two foster sons, James and Buddy Closs; his parents, Mr.and Mrs. C. A. Risinger, Bryan; two sisters, Mrs. R. E. Jones, Bryan, and Mrs. T. P Smith of Goose Creek; five brothers, Berry Risinger of Steep Hollow; B. M. Risinger , Normangee; B. L. Risinger of Reliance; B. F. Risinger of Shamrock, and Alton Risinger, Bryan. Pallbearers included Willard Winters, Conrad Merka, Elmo Weedon, Hardy Weedon, Nunn Jones, and William Kincannon.
