Bio

Ben was a gifted writer, story teller and humorist. He wrote for several publications and his favorite topic was anything "Texas." He would get on kicks and decide to write about certain subjects and drag his wife and two children all over Texas searching for whatever interested him at the time. He loved University of Texas football, the Texas Rangers and The Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by his wife, Linda Cotharn Mikus; children Randy Mikus and Laura (Kathy) Henggeler; grandsons Daniel and Michael Mikus, and Gus Henggeler.
