ROCK FALLS – Ethel Mae Howard, age 79, died on February 18, 2020, at the Rock Falls Rehab facility. Ethel was born on July 14, 1940, the daughter of Frank and Rosa (Inman) Cumby. She worked in retail as a clerk for many years. In her free time she loved to play cards with her friends and family. Surviving family members are her sons, Curt (Tandy) Howard, Brad (Angie) Howard and Brian (Ginny) Howard; her brother, James (Ruth Ann) Cumby and five grandchildren. Ethel was preceded in death by her sister, Ida Abell and her brothers, Bill, John, Tom and Donald. A visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, with a funeral service following visitation at 11:30 a.m. Burial at Coloma Township Cemetery.
