FUCHS, Mrs. Martha Sophie of Thrall. Age 82. Died 5/21/1971 (Friday) enroute to a Taylor hospital after suffering a heart attack. Services held (Monday) from St.Johns Lutheran Church in Thrall. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Rev. James Heineke, pastor of St. Johns Lutheran Church officiated. Condra Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She was a resident of Thrall for 64 years. Member of St. John Lutheran Church and for a number of years was the church organist. She taught Sunday School class for 30 years and was a member of Ladies Aid. She was vitally interested in the civic progress of her city and when not engaged in her church program, had a love for flowers and adding beauty to her home. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Mrs. Wilbert (Anna Marie) Valenta of Victoria; 3 sons, Arthur Fuchs and Raymond Fuchs, both of Thrall and Ben Fuchs of Long Beach, CA.; 7 sisters; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and a large circle of friends.
