Bio

Elfrieda Marek Glaser, 93, of Rosebud, died Thursday at her residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Salem Lutheran Church near Rosebud with the Rev. Gnana Segaran officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Glaser was born in the Wilson Community to the late Fred and Ella Frerichs and lived in the Rosebud area all of her life. She married Jodie W. Marek in 1935, who preceded her in death April 18, 1966. She then married Willie Glaser June 28, 1974. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, Willie F. Glaser, of Rosebud; son, Joe L. Marek, of Rosebud; daughter, JoAnn Pemberton, of Temple; step-sons, Carroll Glaser, of Rockdale and James E. Glaser, of Rogers; brother, Fred R. Frerichs, of Temple; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. WT: 7/27/2007
