ROSEBUD — Services for Alvin Lee Glaser, 89, of Wilson will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Salem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gnana Segaran officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud. Mr. Glaser died Monday, Dec. 20, in a Temple hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1921 near Cameron to Otto and Ola Maresh Glaser. He lived in the Wilson community most of his life. He married Elizabeth Weimann on Aug. 8, 1948 and she preceded him in death on Aug. 23, 2004. He was a retired farmer and a member of Salem Lutheran Church. Survivors include a son, Jimmy Glaser of Wilson, a sister, Nadine Kosel of Cyclone; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. TEMPLE DAILY TELEGRAM. Published: December 22, 2010.
