Services for Fred "Bobby" Frerichs Jr., 89, of Temple will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Frank Simcik officiating. Burial will follow in Seaton Cemetery. Mr. Frerichs died Wednesday, March 2, in a local nursing home. He was born on June 13, 1921, to Fred George and Ella Annie Marek Frerichs in Falls County. On Aug. 21, 1949, he married Wilma Stastny at Terrace Chapel in Barclay. He had worked for 20 years with Temple Products and nine years for Temple ISD. He attended Evangelical Brethren Church. He was preceded in death by a grandchild. Survivors include his wife; a son, Fred Michael Frerichs of Temple; a daughter, Dianna Cehand of Moffat; and two granddaughters. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. TEMPLE DAILY TELEGRAM. Published: March 4, 2011.
