Daughter of Mitchell Henry Anderson and Lovicia Aveline Ivester Anderson (buried Doxey Cemetery, Sayre, Becham County, Oklahoma), grand daughter of Nancy Malinda Nichols Ivester Nix and Jacob B 'Boo' Ivester and step grandfather Ira C Dallas Nix. Wife of Eugene Homer Davis and mother of Ruth Louise, George Oren, Harley Earl, Mabel Estelle, Henry William, Alfred Henry, Virginia, Sidney Eugene, Darlene May 'Peggy Lou' and Arlene Fay 'Joy Sue' Davis. ~~ Mollie Ellen ANDERSON, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell H. ANDERSON, was born February 20, 1886, near Atlanta, Ga. For a time she lived in Greer County, Okla., moving from there to Ochiltree county where she has lived the past 32 years. In 1908 she was united in marriage to Homer Davis, the union being blessed with eleven children, three of whom preceded their mother into eternity. After an illness of about two weeks, she passed away quietly a few minutes after 3:00 o'clock early Monday morning, January 9. She reached an age of 46 years, 11 months, and 19 days. She leaves behind to mourn her departure her husband, her aged mother, eight children, four sisters, two brothers, a number of grandchildren, and a host of other bereaved relatives and friends.
