Husband of Susan Maetta Burton-Rains. Son of George and Elizabeth Louisa Lentz Rains. The headstone shows he was born in 1859, but he was actually born in May, 1858. His brother Isaac was born on 1 May, 1859 after the family moved from Indiana to Iowa.
