Bio
Funeral services for Frank Martin Miska, 76, of Beaumont will be held 2 p. m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Msgr. James Brunner officiating. Burial will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. A rosary will be recited 7 p. m. Monday at the Taylor Brothers Funeral Home chapel. Mr. Miska was born Nov. 11, 1913, to Joe and Mary Rose Muzny Miska in Weimer and died Oct. 7, 1990, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A resident of Beaumont for the last three years and former 40-year resident of Bay City, he was a member of the Catholic church for more than 40 years and the Knights of Columbus in Bay City. He retired after 40 years of service from Matagorda Tractor & Implement. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Tom Petkovsek of Beaumont; one son and daughter-in-law, Frank Nolan and Naeda Miska of Beaumont; a sister, Ann Miska of Wharton; three brothers, Joe and Emil Miska of Wharton and Henry Miska of Houston; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers are Dr. Eric Koch, David Koch, Charles Miska, Wayland Miska, Frank Miska and Johnny Miska. Arrangements are with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home, Bay City. The Daily Tribune , October, 1990
