Services will be held for Jane Elizabeth Miska, 62, of Bay City, 10 a. m. Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Joe Shannon. Miska died March 15, 1983 at Matagorda General Hospital. Survivors include husband, Frank Miska of Bay City; daughter, Mary Ann Petkovsek of Baton Rouge, La.; son, Nolan Miska of Kountze; brother, Robert Ackerman of Blessing; 5 grandchildren. Miska has been a resident of Bay City since 1942. Rosary will be said 7:30 p. m. tonight at Taylor Brothers Chapel with Mgr. C. J. Martin. Burial will follow funeral services at Hawley Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joe Miska, Emil Miska, Henry Miska, George Knebel, S. M. Landry and Pat Kristynik. Arrangements with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home. The Daily Tribune , March, 1983
