The Victoria Advocate, July 13, 1995: Ann Miska, 76, of Wharton, died Tuesday, July 11, 1995. She was born Apr. 29, 1919 in Dubina to the late Joe A. Sr. and Mary Rose Muzny Miska. She was a telephone operator with Southwestern Bell Telephone until her retirement in 1984. Survivors: three nieces and four nephews. Preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Emil Miska, Johnny Miska, Frank Miska, Joe Miska, and Henry Miska. Family visitation begins after 5 p.m. today Wharton Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary: 9:30 a.m. Friday, Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with Father Joe Vrana officiating. Burial: Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
