BIG SPRING - Robbie Townsend, 81, died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, in a local hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with burial in Trinity Memorial Park. She was born Oct. 27, 1918, in Hunt County and was a lifetime resident of Big Spring. She was a cook for Jack and Jill Day Care Center and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, W.L. "Shake"' Townsend of Big Spring; two nieces, Shirley White of Big Spring and Joyce Romine of Midland; a nephew, Billy Hammack of Wimberley; and numerous relatives.
