Milford Dayton Shook, Sr. Feb 28, 1902 - Jul 21, 1971 Shook Funeral services for Milford D. Shook, 69, are to be today at 3:30 p.m. in Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. James McBee officiating. Burial is to be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Corley Funeral Home. Shook died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital. He had been a resident of Corsicana for several years and was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, Ida Shook of Corsicana; a daughter, Mrs. Joe Baumgartner of Corsicana; a son, J. B. Shook of Garland; two granddaughters, Anelie Shook and Denise Shook, both of Corsicana; a grandson, Jim Shook of Garland; three brothers, A. O. Shook of Atlanta, Ga., O. J. Shook, Jr. of Little Rock, Ark., and Glen Shook of Wichita, Kan.; and a sister, Mrs. Selma Crook of Montecello, Ark. Pallbearers are to be Lee Lambert, Jessie Richards, Charles Shoemaker, Bill Nutt, Lloyd Averitt, Calvin Barron, Clifton Barron, Paul Rash and Bill Turner. The Bible Reader Sunday School Class of the Emmanuel Baptist Church will be honorary pallbearers.
