Bio

QUITMAN - Services for Dollie Howle, 100, Quitman, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Yantis, with the Revs. David Smith and Billy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Rock Hill Cemetery under direction of Lowe Funeral Home, Quitman. Mrs. Howle died July 5, 2007, in Quitman. She was born Dec. 9, 1906, in Hopkins County, and lived most of her life in Wood County. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell Howle; sons, T.E. Howle Jr. and Mick Howle; and daughters, Dorothy Forsyth, Sue Harrod and Wilda Earnheart. Survivors include daughters, Magdalene Steed and Winnie Liles, both of Yantis; sister, Hazel Terry, Brashear; 12 grandchildren; great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are James Lester Stephens, Andy Steed, Gary Steed, Michael Howle, David Harrod and Bubba Osbourne. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
