FRIONA - Julia Helen Schlenker Potts, 94, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Friona Cemetery with Leon Talley, minister of Sixth Street Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are by Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona. Mrs. Potts was a former Texas Extension Homemaker and Girl Scout leader in Friona. Survivors include two sons, Larry Potts and Jay Potts, both of Friona; a daughter, Marilyn Moore of Clovis, N.M.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, July 6, 2007
