Elsie Strokos Tomek Badgett of Baytown, TX went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Elsie was 96 years old. She was born on January 14, 1923 to Frank and Annie Strokos. She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Hildebrand and husband Jim of Highlands. Grandchildren Cory Hildebrand and wife Karen of Highlands, Tara Hildebrand of Highlands and fiancé Jon Meyers of Cypress. Great grandchildren Hannah and husband Kenny Cambiano, Deanna and David Guzman also Joshua Hildebrand fiancé Brianna Gage. Great- great grandchildren Kinsley and Carter Guzman. Many siblings, nieces and nephews. Elsie was proceeded in death by her loving parents, daughter Barbara Tomek, husbands Wilfred Middleton, Gus Joe Tomek and Wayman Badgett. Elsie loved her church family at Living Hope Church of God. She also loved her grandchildren, fishing, embroidering and gardening. Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Cory Hildebrand, Joshua Hildebrand, Kenny Cambiano, David Guzman, Jon Meyers, and Steve Campbell. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Sterling White Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm with Pastor Kevin Kleinhenz officiating. Interment will follow in Sterling White Cemetery.
