He was the son of Mannie and Cora Lee (Gaddie) Stephens. His obituary follows: William Mannie Stephens, age 43 of Route 1, Elora, died Friday, December 4 at Hartselle, Alabama. A native of Franklin County, Mr. Stephens was a truck driver by occupation. He was the son of Mannie Stephens and Cora Lee Gadd. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Mann. He is survived by a daughter, Pamela Zajdel; five sisters, Eva Posey and Kathy Morris, both of Winchester, and Carolyn Platt of Belvidere, and Jo Ann Stephens and Shirley Smith, both of Elora; two brothers, Allen Stephens of Winchester, and Kenneth Stephens of Decherd; one grandchild; and his maternal grandmother, Laura Gaddie of Winchester; Funeral services were Tuesday, December 8 at 11 a.m. from the Moore-Cortner Chapel with interment in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
