Eva Lee (Stephens) Sutherland Posey May 18, 1943 - May 25, 2018 Eva Lee Stephens Posey, age 75 of Winchester, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on May 18, 1943. Eva was a member of Riva Lake Baptist Church. She was previously employed by Lay's Dime Store and later retired from Wilton Corporation of Winchester. When she was able, Eva enjoyed fishing, working in her flower beds, and hiking. She is preceded in death by her father, Mannie Stephens; husband, Ervin Sutherland; son, Roger Dale Sutherland; daughters, Brenda Sutherland May, Tammy Sutherland Gifford, and Mary Sutherland Limbaugh; sister, Linda Stephens Mann; and brothers, William Stephens and Mannie Jo Stephens. Eva is survived by her daughter, Vicki (Wade) Sanson of Winchester; mother, Cora Lee Gaddie Stephens; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Joanne Stephens of Elora, Shirley (Glen) Smith of Petersburg, Carolyn (Bruce) Platt of Belvidere, and Kathy Stephens Morris of Estill Springs; brothers, Allen Stephens of Winchester and Kenneth Stephens of Elora; many nieces and nephews; and little loyal and devoted dog, Daisy. Visitation Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services on Monday, May 28, 2018 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel. Eva laid to rest at Mount Garner Cemetery.
