Beverly J. Dwyer, 81 years, of Fremont, NE passed away Sunday, August 3, 2019 at Methodist Fremont Health. She was born on December 5, 1937 in Ulysses, NE to Emil and Anna (Hladkey) Sloup. She attended Seward High School. She was employed at Holiday Lodge of Fremont. Bev married Duane Cloyed on March 31, 1954, they later divorced. She married George "Dick" Dwyer in 1978, he preceded her in death on October 28, 1981. Bev enjoyed eating at her favorite restaurants, King Kong and Wing Stop. She liked flowers, meeting people and just taking walks. She was a member of St Patrick Catholic Church. Bev is survived by her life partner of 31 years, Ron Kerwin of Fremont, NE; sons, Jimmy Cloyed and Patricia Moore of Yutan, Ne; Duane (Cindy) Cloyed of Grinnell, IA, Kory (Colleen) Cloyed of Prescott, AZ; daughters Shelly Kumm of Grinnell, IA; Debbie (Brian) Mory of Zephryl Hills, FL; sisters, Ann Woolsey and Darlene Shippen both of Friend, NE; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters; Emma, Rose, Mary, and Helen; brothers, Joseph and Edmond. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M., Thursday, August 8, 2019 at St Patrick Catholic Church. Visitation from 5-7 PM on Wednesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. A Rosary will begin at 7 PM. Burial following the mass at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont. Memorial may be directed to the family.
