Bio
Janell McMahan passed away on July 5, 2019 following a lengthy illness. Born December 1, 1928 in Van Zandt county, TX, she was preceded in death by her husband Ward C. McMahan, parents Z.C.Chaney Sr. and Ora Johnston Chaney, and sisters Naoma Chaney Landers and Beth Chaney Crocker. Janell was a registered nurse, employed at the V.A. Hospital in Dallas as I.C.U. head nurse until her retirement in 1993. A woman of great faith, Janell was dedicated to her church and church family. She was a born caregiver, and will be dearly remembered for her strength, her integrity and her unconditional love and dedication to her family and friends.
