Waiss Jesch 1898 - 1985 Marie Waiss George Waiss Theresa Waiss Hawkinson Frank Waiss Agnes Waiss Anna Waiss Daugherty Adolph (Bud) Cyril Blaise Waiss 1916 - 2005 Genevieve Waiss Magdalin G. Peschek Magdalin G. Peschek, born March 23, 1912 in Loma, Nebraska, died July 11, 2000 in Tacoma. She and her family moved to the Tacoma area in 1941, and to Fife in 1946. Magdalin was a Fife resident until her health forced her to return to Tacoma to be closer to her family. She was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and the Third Order of St. Francis. Magdalin is survived by her children, John (Vivian), Dennis (Julie), Karen Gallaway, Paul (Marty), Mary Collier, and Joseph; sisters Ann Daugherty, Theresa Hawkinson; brother Adolph "Bud" Waiss; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter and a son, James . The family would like to thank the staff at the Weatherly Inn for their care and love over the last two and a half years. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 14, 2000, 11:00am, St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited prior to Mass at 10:30am, also at the church. Interment will take place at Sumner Cemetery following a reception in the parish center. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Gaffney Cassedy Allen and Buckley King.
