Linda K. Johnson, 59, of Lincoln, passed away on June 17, 2019 after a tough battle with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. Mrs. Johnson was born February 4, 1960 to Raymond & Irene (Sabata) Wesely in Lincoln, NE. Linda attended Lincoln Northeast High School. She worked at places like Health America, Bryan Hospital and Surgical Associates as an office worker/manager. She married Alan Johnson in 1998. Linda loved animals and always had at least one cat, most of the time 3. She loved hanging out with family and friends, going on cruises and softball. Linda will be deeply missed by her husband, Alan; siblings, Don Wesely, Jim (Kathy) Wesely, David (Sue) Wesely, Jnel (Tim) Birkel, Tom Johnson, Jolynn (Brett) Ferguson; mother & father-in-law, Leroy (Glenda) Johnson; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at St. John The Apostle Catholic Church. Fr. Lyle Johnson will Celebrate. Inurnment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 6:00 PM on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home. A rosary will be said at 7:00 PM. Linda's wishes were for cremation. Memorials are suggested to the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center or the Capital Humane Society.
