BURWELL — Henry John Burson, 69, of Burwell died Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 17, at the United Methodist Church in Burwell. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery in Burwell. Pastor Dennis Davenport will officiate. Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell is in charge of the arrangements Henry was born in Burwell on Dec. 24, 1949, to Loyd and Betty (Tiff) Burson. Henry married Rosina Shultz on March 26, 1976 in Burwell. Henry is survived by his wife, Rosina Burson of Burwell; three children, Liza and Billy Reineke of Ericson, Erica Burson of Ord and Tyler Burson of Ord; four grandchildren; a brother, Robert Burson of Missouri; and four sisters, Viola Berney of Grand Island, Norma Schreier of Burwell, Marge and Greg Davis of Security, Colo., and Shirley Jones of Burwell. Henry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gerald Burson and Danny Burson; and a niece, Susan Burson.
