Milford Lynn Carter, 69, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019, in Palmer, Texas, surrounded by loved ones. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Ennis. Lynn was born on March 18, 1950, in Waxahachie, Texas, to the late Melfred W. and Hazel Louise (Fuller) Carter. He grew up in Waxahachie and graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1968. On March 9, 1973, Lynn married Janis C. Pekar and they made their home in Ennis and then settled in Palmer in 1977. Lynn worked for 47 years for Owens-Corning Fiberglass retiring in 2010 as the maintenance supervisor. He was a Baptist. Lynn enjoyed spending time with family, playing softball, horseshoes, and golf. He was preceded in death by half-sisters, Loretta and Jeanie. Survivors include his wife of over 46 years, Janis; daughter, Leslie Stowhas and her husband, Enrique: son, Ashley Carter and his wife, Hannah; and grandchildren: Layton, Dylan, Enrique, Jr., Christian, and West.
