Bio

William Henry Hoover, 61, died, yesterday afternoon at his home near Readyville following a year's illness. Rites will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, conducted by Rev. R. A. Taylor, assisted by Rev. Allen Barrett. Burial will be in Curlee cemetery. Mr. Hoover lived a his life on the farm, near Readyville, where he was born. He was the son of the late Thomas N. Hoover and Mary Arnette Hoover and was a member of Wilson Hill Baptist church. His first wife, the former Charlie Dunn, died in 1946. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bertha Patterson Hoover; two sons Gaither and Thurman Hoover, of Murfreesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Nettie 'Wilson, Nashville; Mrs. Effie Mullennix, Chattanooga and Mrs. Margaret Coleman, Readyville.
