Obituary Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Patterson Hoover, 78, of 338 E. Lytle St., who died May 15 at Murfreesboro Nursing Facility after an extended illness, will be held 2 p.m. May 16, Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Curlee Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Spencer will officiate. Her parents were the late G. A. and Willie Florida Patterson. She is survived by two step-sons, Gaither of Readyville and Thurman Hoover of Milton. Great nephews will be pallbearers. A member of Maney Ave. Baptist Church, she was the widow of the late William Henry Hoover who died in 1954.
