Bio
T. Newton Hoover died at his home near Readyville on September 5, 1934. Hoover. was born in 1857 in the home where he lived and died. He was a prosperous and highly respected farmer and a member of the Wilson Hill Baptist church. He married Miss Mary E. Arnett, December 21, 1878, who survives him. In addition to his wife, the deceased is survived by five children, Willie and J. Thomas of Readyville, and three daughters, Mrs. Nettie Wilson of Nashville, Mrs. Effie Mullinax of Chattanooga, and Mrs. Sanders Coleman of Kingsport; one brother, A. R. Hoover of this city and a sister, Mrs. "Nettie Daniel of Readyville. The funeral will be held Friday, the hour to be set later, pending the arrival of out of town relatives. Services will be at the church of which he was a member with the Reverend R. A Taylor presiding assisted by the Rev J. T. Casey. The grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.
