James C. Lenart James Lenart Obituary JAMES C. (JIM) LENART, 67, of Houston, died Thursday, June 7, 2007. Mr. Lenart was born November 29, 1939, in West, Texas to A. J. Lenart and Mattie MacCagren Lenart. Jim retired from AT&T after 25 years of faithful service. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Carolyn Peterson. Jim loved the outdoors. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 36 years, Ellen Lenart; his mother, Mattie Lenart Morrow; two daughters, Selina Lenart Childers and her husband David, and Mary Ellalyn Lenart; a son, Jim C. Lenart, Jr. and his wife Crystal; two sisters, Jeanie Dittfurth and her husband Roy, and Kathie Dishman and her husband Mike; four grandchildren, Jennica Childers, Joe Childers, James Lenart, III, and Jayme Lenart; and a brother-in-law, W. T. Peterson, II. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 p. m. until 4:00 p. m. Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p. m. Monday, June 11, 2007, in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, with Rev. M. Eugene Vickrey, officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
