Jerry Felix Komarek 7/8/1934 - 4/15/2019 Jerry Felix Komarek, 84, of Friendswood, TX passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019. He was born July 8, 1934 to parents Joseph and Francis Komarek in Dayton, TX. He passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family. He served in the U.S Army. After an honorable discharge he worked 33 years for Goodyear Tire and Rubber. After retirement he served God as an assistant chaplain at the Harris County jail, as well as The Lost Sheep and One Soul Ministries. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Francis Komarek, wife Faye Komarek, and wife Jan Komarek; also, daughters, Elizabeth Komarek and Laurie Wyatt, and grandson Jordan Groce, as well as 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife Patsy Komarek, his children Linda Radcliff, Diana Kittley, Suzanne and Randy Silberman, Elaine Coleman, Michael and Julie Komarek, his wive's children Stan and Jeanette Ford, Steve and Sharon Ford, Mark and Gill Ford, Joe and Julie Ford, Lauri and Terry Reed, Lesa and Scotty Smith and David Sharp, also 33 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and lots of friends. Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 A.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546 (281) 992-7200 with Rev. Rex Forsyth officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery also known as Eastgate Cemetery in Dayton, Texas, Liberty County.
