Bio

Hattie Belle Webb Burden was the daughter of David Blalock Webb and Frances Elizabeth Smith Stuckey Webb of Houston County, Texas. Hattie was first married to Henry Waller, also of Houston County, TX in 1895. Henry died the following year and is buried in Wesley Cemetery, Houston County, TX. Hattie married John H. Burden and they lived in Bryan, Brazos County, TX where their daughter, Neta Belle Burden, was born in 1904. The family moved to San Antonio, Bexar County, TX. By 1920, Hattie is shown on the Bexar County census as widowed and Neta Belle has married to Orin Hardy. Per the death certificate of Hattie Burden, she was buried in San Jose Burial Park in San Antonio. Neta Belle Hardy provided the information on the certificate; however, she showed her own father's name of John as Hattie's father's name.
