Wayne Jones February 23, 1937 - March 24, 2019 Wayne Jones, 81, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Nolan Nursing & Rehab. Wayne’s wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. Wayne was born February 23, 1937 in Abilene, TX to the late Bernard Wilburn and Lois Beatrice (Matthews) Jones. He married Nikki Lou Casner on August 1, 1988 in Alice, TX. He was a member of the St. Stephens Episcopal Church. Survivors include his son, Jerry Wayne Jones of Waco, TX; daughters, Teresa Harris of Trinidad, TX and Vicki Johnson of Malakoff, TX; sister, Joanna Scherwitz of Sweetwater; brothers, Earl and Dearl Jones, both of Nolan.
