Bio

Mildred Asay passed away on March 2, 1992 at Hill Haven Nursing Home at the age of 91. She was born August 31, 1900 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jacob and Anna Bai. In 1924 she married Gordon C. Wirick; he preceded her in death in 1936. Mildred then married Dolph Avon Asay who preceded her in death in 1964. Mildred worked for 30 years in the Salt Lake City Courts and upon her retirement she became very interested in flowers and was elected president and treasurer of the Garden Club for two terms. In 1976, the Salt Lake Tribune honored her with a very special tribute for her accomplishments. Special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Hill Haven Nursing home for their care. We will miss her very much. Mildred was cremated. According to her wishes, there were no services. REST IN ETERNAL PEACE MILDRED.
