Helen Conner Taylor, 82 of Silas, AL, and formerly of Marietta, GA died February 25, 2019. Funeral services were held in the chapel of Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Barry Lancaster officiating. She is survived by her husband Jim Taylor of Silas, AL; sons Alan Conner of Atlanta, GA, Keith Conner of Lawrenceville, GA, and James Taylor of Pelham, AL; daughters Leigh Anne Salter of Fort Worth, TX and Sharon Goodwin of Selma, AL; brothers Grover Winslow, Jr. of Hemphill, TX and Stanley Winslow of Montgomery, AL; sisters Mildred Jones of Daphne, AL, Edith Glassman of Cullomburg, AL, Jean Mosley of Cullomburg, AL, and Evelyn Black of Anniston, AL; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Grover Winslow, Sr.; mother Gussie Stanley Winslow; brother Richard Winslow; and son David Taylor.
