Bio

Wife of Robert Russell Lane. Robert & Elizabeth lived shortly in the Hindsville area of Madison County, Arkansas; but during the Civil War the Lane families moved to Texas which was not in the midst of the fighting. Because Elizabeth's date of death is not certain, she could be buried in Arkansas or she could be buried in Texas. No tombstone has been found for her in either location.
