Bio

Wilma B. Evans, 91, died Tuesday January 15, 2019 , at Tazewell Community Hospital, Tazewell, Virginia. She was born in Dwina, Virginia; daughter of the late James and Martha Holbrook Bays. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel C. Evans and son, Ronald Evans. She worked at the library for 29 years and was a lifetime member of Mary Martin Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Sue Evans Gianato and husband, Mike of Pounding Mill, Virginia; one son, Charles Russell Evans and wife, Loretta of St. Paul, Virginia; one sister, Irene Holbrook of Coeburn, Virginia; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
