KINGSPORT TIMES-NEWS Kingsport, Tennessee Tuesday, 8 November 1988, Page 4B AUGUSTA, Ga. – Estelle Bays Salyer, 64, died Sunday (Nov. 6, 1988), in Augusta, Ga. A native of Wise County, Va., she was a graduate of St. Paul High School and a member of the Cliffwood Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, Iraw Salyer; two sons, William Salyer, Seymour, Tenn., and Richard Salyer, Augusta, Ga.; two daughters, Miss Phyllis Salyer and Miss Judy Salyer, both of Augusta, Ga.; four brothers, Carlton Bays, Bristol, Va., Gothard Bays, Wise, Va., William C. Bays, Indianapolis, Ind., and Trueman Bays, Richlands, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Galdys Gillespie, Castlewood, Va., Mrs. Wilma Evans and Mrs. Irene Holbrook, both of Coeburn, Va.; several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cliffwood Presbyterian Church, Augusta, Ga. Poteet South Funeral Home, Augusta, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.
